And thy pull not punches when covering culling out the library. お屋敷の一室といった趣の重厚な部屋が多かったです。それぞれに個性が強いので、写真を見ているとその好き嫌いで、自分の好みもみえてくるような一冊です。ただ部屋作りの参考にはなりにくいので星３つにしておきます。 本好きな人間は他人の書斎を見てみたい、という願望が強くあると思います。私もこれまで多くの日本で出版された書斎紹介写真集を持っていますが、どれも本だけ、というイメージが強く書棚にところせましと本が並んでいるものばかりです。本著はライフスタイルと蔵書、というテーマを追及していることから、ひとつとして同じような書斎は登場しません。キース・リチャードの書斎、あるいは海をイメージした書斎などなど。登場する人の生活全体の中に占める本の位置、というのがトータルでせまってくるような写真集で、何度見ても飽きる事がありません。 At Home with Booksを楽天で検索 |
