I read the first half of this book in one sitting - purely because it is well-written and to the point. I definately recommend this title to the amatuer or professional user of GoLive. Carlson and Fleishman have developed the book well as both an introduction to the GoLive development environment and as a reference work with a great index at the back and topics arrange logically throughout the book. The GoLive development environment is not as intuitive as it could be (even for those who are familiar with Adobe software) and without the book by my side I would definately have struggled to produce the work that I have to date. Despite this - once the user does understand how the software works it is an incredibly useful tool. One warning - it will be necessary to learn about the basics of web page and web site design elsewhere (html, cascading style sheets, javascript, site layout etc.) but most users of this software should be comfortable enough with this already.
